Extended registration deadline for the 2022 season 2022-01-02
Dear darts fanatics,
we hope you all made it into the new year safe and well.
From Monday we open the doors of our office again and are at your disposal with advice and help. Alongside that we are busy planning the new season. The rough framework (group allocation, fixtures, hygiene concept) is already in place and we hope we can put it all into practice as planned. Despite the difficult circumstances, plenty of teams have registered for the coming season. We are hugely pleased that so many want to be at the start and stand by the club.
For the district, however, we are still looking for teams keen to play the season with VDH e. V.
We therefore want to extend the registration deadline once more, to 16 January 2022 and give you all the chance to register for the coming season after all. Of course we also accept registrations from the county, but we would be very pleased about district players, as things are a little thinner further up.
Come on everyone, pull yourselves together and register!!!
For questions or help with filling in the registrations, the board is available in person at the office on Mondays, or the sports officers by telephone or e-mail.

SRL 2021 cancelled 2021-11-30
dear team captains,
after a long back and forth we decided at our extraordinary board meeting on Monday to cancel the final matches in the SRL.
Together with you we managed to put on at least a short season. But under – sorry that we have to put it that way – lousy circumstances, the health and well-being of our members and their families matter more to us than challenging the virus here and finishing the SRL come what may.
We also do not want to exclude or disadvantage anyone!!!
After all, we all want the same thing: to meet friends and play the greatest sport in the world.
The captains of the teams concerned will be contacted separately by the treasurer.
In order to reach a fair and, we hope, conciliatory conclusion, we have decided to score and pay out the matches as follows.
- Places 1 and 2 in groups A and B receive EUR 128 each
- Places 3 and 4 in groups A and B receive EUR 64 each
We are extremely sorry to have to take this decision, but at present we see no other option.
We would also like to tell you that we want to stick to our registration deadline and our date for the start of the season. We continue to monitor the situation here and hope that things will ease a little over the turn of the year. Hope, as we know, is the last thing to die.
As we wrote above, we do not want to exclude anyone and have decided that if 2G+ is still in force by February, we will postpone the start of the season further. We already have a plan B in the drawer for that.
We are grateful to you all for keeping the club afloat in this difficult time with your membership fees and entry fees. A big thank you also goes to the landlords and landladies for staying loyal to us with your teams.
We already wish you all a peaceful Advent season.

VDH news 2021-10-06
slowly but surely we are returning to "normality" and can look a little more positively to the future where darts is concerned.
After the annual general meeting we, as the new board, have now come together, divided up our areas of work and staffed them according to your wishes.

Handwritten registrations are not accepted. The registration deadline is 30 November 2021.
If a team wants to take part in the VDH cup, that registration can also be made already.
Registrations for the ranking are also possible from now on. The deadline here is 31 December 2021. It will then start in early February.
Please pass this information on to your landlord if there is interest in hosting a monthly ranking tournament with you.

Annual fee and late registration fee 2021 2021-09-22
dear members,
first of all, many thanks to all members who transferred their annual fee to us at the beginning of the year. Only thanks to you were we able to keep our heads above water during the coronavirus period and lead the club, able to act, into the new – if short – transitional season. More than three quarters of the members supported us in this difficult time and stuck with us. For such loyalty to our club and to the sport you deserve a huge THANK YOU.
As laid down in our statutes, the annual fee must be paid at the beginning of the year by 31 January, otherwise membership ends. Because of the coronavirus and the uncertain situation, we voted within the board to extend this deadline to 30 April.
Anyone who had not paid their annual fee by then was automatically set to inactive by the system.
In order to be able to take part in the current season, all members whose payment arrived by 30 April 2021 were set to active, and members who only paid their fee after that date (in order to obtain eligibility to play) would, under the statutes, have to pay EUR 15 annual fee + EUR 5 processing/late registration fee.
For many, only the annual fee has come in. Please check whether you have also paid the EUR 5 late registration fee for your players. Otherwise we cannot clear them for active play.
If this has not happened, please pay the EUR 5 afterwards, stating the team name, the player name and the reference "Nachmeldegebühr". As soon as we see the payment, we set the team member to active.

Resumption of league play 2021-06-24
as already announced, the board met on Saturday, 19 June 2021 to discuss how and when things should continue.
From 18.09.2021 we will start league play again. Under the name VDH Supreme Restart League we are getting going again.
The name is new – the darts stay almost unchanged. To let everyone ease back in after this long break, before we can hopefully start the new season again in January, we have come up with something new. Any team that wants to and is able to take part in league play can register for the Supreme Restart League from now on. A team must consist of active VDH members. Where teams come together that did not exist in league play before, the following applies: the member’s last player status is decisive. Players forming a team should ideally have the same division status, but may team up with players at most one division lower. From below, players may join up with higher divisions at any time (example: played in the Bezirksliga last season, now register with players from the Bezirksklasse at most. Played Bezirksklasse last season, now register with players from the Kreisliga at most).
The entry fee per team is EUR 10.00; there are no further costs apart from the board fee during the matches.
What is played? Quite simply: darts!
To be more specific: the registered teams are divided into groups of four. There everyone plays everyone else home and away. At the end of the second round this produces table places 1 to 4 in each group. Places 1 and 2 from all groups go through to tournament field A, places 3 and 4 from all groups go through to tournament field B and play there in single elimination until places 1 to 4 are decided. The entry fee is paid out 100 % as prize money for places
- 1=40%
- 2=30%
- 3=20%
- 4=10%
The format played is 501 Master Out. A match consists of 16 singles. The usual doubles are dropped in the Supreme Restart League.
Team registrations for this must be submitted from now on. The deadline here is 31.07.2021.

IMPORTANT: all team registrations received so far for the new season are void. Registrations for the new season starting in January 2022 should only be made from 1 September 2021 . The registration deadline here is 30.11.2021. Please refrain from registering earlier.

- Abandonment of the 2019/2020 season
The season is abandoned. The outstanding matches will not be made up. No evaluation of the last season can be made. In some groups nearly all matches had been played; in others there were teams that had not played a single match in the second half of the season.
The current state of the table therefore does not reflect a clear result that we could use as an assessment.
Nor is it possible to take the table position after the first half of the season or to score all matches now as draws. - Sports grants / entry fee season 2019/2020
As already described in the first point, we cannot evaluate the past season. No sports grants can be paid out for placings. Every team, however, will have its entry fee refunded by us.
Over the coming days Lena Welc will contact everyone who made a transfer (team, landlord or machine operator) and ask for their bank details. The entry fees can only be refunded by bank transfer. Cash payment is not possible.
- New registration for the coming season
All teams can already register for the new season. We cannot set a deadline, as unfortunately we do not yet know when league play will be possible again. We have, however, already given thought to how the coming season will run.
The following options would be conceivable:
- A short 2021 season (if it becomes possible again towards the summer) with more groups but fewer teams per group. E.g. 6 teams instead of 10, and thus shorter halves of the season
- Season start in 2022 (if restrictions are only eased towards the end of the year) and then in the normal cycle as already planned for this year: first half – summer break – second half.
An example here too:
Kreisliga – if a team currently stands in one of the top places in the table and feels up to the sporting challenge of playing one division higher, it ticks Bezirksklasse on the team registration for the new season. The same the other way round: if a team stands in the lower places and does not see itself in the current division, that team registers one division lower.
The registration preferences are noted and the sports officers will try to take them into account when allocating the groups.
If we have already received a new registration from a team, we have noted it on the website.
After every team name it says – DC Max Mustermann Note: no registration yet for the current/new season. If this note is absent, a registration has already been received. We are still working on better transparency here.
- Entry fees for the coming season
As already announced by the board, there will be changes here too. Until now the payment for the season was made up as follows: landlord fee, league fee, entry fee
For the coming season:
- Landlord fee
The landlord fee of 57.50 euros is dropped to send a clear signal to our venues – "It is not much, but we need you!!! You have had to absorb enormous losses over the past year." - League fee
The league fee is reduced from 57.50 euros to 50.00 euros - Entry fee
The entry fee is also reduced for the coming season. It starts with Kreisklasse at 40.00 euros, Kreisliga 60.00 euros, Bezirksklasse 80.00 euros, Bezirksliga 100.00 euros, Bezirksoberliga 120.00 euros and Masterliga 140.00 euros.
- Landlord fee
- Annual fee 2021
Most members have paid the annual fee for 2021. A heartfelt thank you for that. Only thanks to you can we continue to exist as a club.
For members who have not yet paid we will not charge the EUR 5.00 processing fee. If a member registers for the new season, the fee must be paid immediately so that they can take part in league play; otherwise the player is suspended from league play.
Members who have already paid can check their status on the website. We have set up the traffic-light system there again: if the circle in front of a player is green, they are active for 2021.
- Contact
All members can contact us with questions by telephone or e-mail. Please bear with us if we cannot always respond to your enquiries straight away. In addition, every Monday from 17:30 to 19:00 you now have the chance – observing the hygiene rules – to meet one of us at our new office, to ask your questions in person or hand in documents.
We hope that with the video and this letter we have been able to answer all your questions and clear up any uncertainties. We try to respond to every member and to take our decisions with the members, teams and venues in mind. We are aware that we cannot please everyone and that not everyone understands our decisions. Nevertheless we hope that we have acted in the interest of the majority and that we can soon return to "normal" league play.

Interruption of the 2019/2020 season 2020-10-24
due to the measures published by the state government today we are unfortunately forced to interrupt the season again.
we see no way of maintaining and continuing league play.
We are not happy about this development either, but health comes first. We had hoped to finish the season by the end of the year, but the coronavirus thwarted that plan.
We will continue to monitor the infection situation and the legal requirements. If things ease again we will of course keep you informed.
Please understand this decision, as we see it as our duty here to protect our members.
Even though we all miss the greatest sport in the world… Keep calm and stay home :-)

Evaluation of the coronavirus survey 2020-10-23
dear members,
92 teams took part in our survey. The result is as follows:
Option A: carry on playing

The season will therefore, as decided by the majority of teams, continue until it may have to be interrupted again by further restrictions and legal requirements.
We have received several enquiries about the "new state regulation". Here we can only appeal to you again and ask you to abide by the requirements of the venue landlord.
We recommend that you turn up wearing a face mask, keep your distance and observe strict hygiene. Please find out about the situation at the venue before your match, contact your opponent and discuss the measures in force on site.
Should problems or difficulties arise, please contact one of the sports officers immediately.
Should there be further changes from the State of Lower Saxony in the coming days, we will inform you about the next steps immediately.
Please protect yourselves and others, take the matter seriously and observe the requirements.

Team registration season 2021
as we already told you, from today, 15 October 2020, you can register your team afresh for the coming season.
To make registration a little easier for you, we have set up an input aid on our website. You will find it under https://www.vereinigte-dartliga-hannover.de/vdh/dokumente/formulare. You can then fill in the form on the computer, print it out, have it signed and send it to us at teammeldung@vdhev.info or send it back to us by post.
Please note, however, that this does not count as an online registration. It must be sent separately.
Of course you can also submit the registration by hand.
However, we only accept registrations that are completely filled in, legible and signed.
You have until 20 December 2020 for the team registration.
When a team registration has arrived, you will get a short confirmation from us.
From 21 December 2020 the sports officers will then allocate the groups and the treasurer will draw up and send the invoices for the coming season.
For the 2021 season VDH e. V. does not charge a landlord fee. This is already greyed out in the input aid.
