Ranking season 2019/2020 2020-10-16
dear members,
as you will already have read, the 2019/2020 ranking season is abandoned with immediate effect. Under the current coronavirus regulations play is unfortunately not possible.
We will not charge for the tournaments already held. We will only invoice the jackpot money. The jackpot money collected so far does not expire but is carried over into the new season and paid out at the next ranking final tournament.
The new ranking season is to start again with the start of the new league season.
Registration for the new ranking season is possible from 15 October 2020. Please download the form from the website (https://www.vereinigte-dartliga-hannover.de/rangliste), fill it in and send it to ranglisten@vdhev.info. The current days stay the same if they are registered again by the same venue.
If you still have questions, you can reach me at any time at ranglisten@vdhev.info and I will get back to you promptly.

Board meeting of 28 September 2020 2020-10-06
on 28 September 2020 our board meeting took place in the new premises of VDH e. V. We would like to inform you about several points from that meeting.
- Personnel changes
At the meeting Daniel Ruß was appointed acting sports officer. Over the coming weeks we will train him and prepare him for his work.
How responsibility for looking after the teams will be divided has not yet been decided. You will be informed about the division. You will also then receive Daniel’s contact details.
- Provision of the office
At some venues the existing coronavirus rules make it difficult to guarantee play. We therefore want to give every team the option of booking the office as a venue for league matches.
If you would like to use this option, get in touch with us and we will try together to find a free date to make the premises available to you.
- annual general meeting takes place
We could not keep the date of 4 October 2020. The meeting is postponed indefinitely. As long as the ban on assemblies keeps being extended, we cannot give you a new date. We continue to watch the requirements of the federal government and the State of Lower Saxony very closely and will hold the annual general meeting as soon as possible.
- Season start 2021
We will open the portal for the new team registrations on 15 October 2020. In view of the uncertain situation, however, we want to extend the deadline to 20 December 2020.
For the 2021 season VDH e. V. does not charge a landlord fee. With this we would like to thank the landlords for the good cooperation and to take a small step towards them in these difficult times.
With the rising coronavirus figures we fear we will not be able to start the season in February. We have already given thought to this too. If the situation worsens further, we would like to postpone the start of the season until April and then start with more but smaller groups within the divisions, so as to finish the season as planned at the end of the year.
- Ranking season
The ranking season is abandoned with immediate effect. Ranking tournaments already held will not be charged to the venue. The euro paid into the jackpot is carried over into the new season and paid out at the next ranking final tournament.
From 15 October 2020 the venues can again register a new ranking tournament. The new ranking season is planned to start together with the start of league play.
Those responsible for the ranking will be informed separately about the abandonment.
We hope that at some point we will find our way back to normality and can then practise the greatest sport in the world again without restrictions…

Annual general meeting 2020 / new date 2020-09-26
as you have probably already noticed, no invitations to the annual general meeting have been sent out so far. We cannot keep the date of Sunday, 4 October 2020.
The daily rising coronavirus figures deter us from scheduling and holding a meeting with a larger number of participants.
Your health matters to us and we do not want to take any risks.
On Monday the board will discuss a new date.
Please understand that this year and this season are anything but "normal" and that we too keep reaching our limits.
We hope to be able to give you more positive news soon and to see you again.

as we have now received several enquiries about the doubles, here is a short explanation again:
- The doubles are NOT played.
- The doubles are scored 2:2 in points and 4:4 in legs.
- The home team and the away team therefore automatically each win 2 points and 4 legs.

Checking the data 2020-09-03
as you know, the last few months have been very turbulent. A lot has changed for the teams and venues too.
We do ask, however, that every team check its data once more on the website and in Softdart.
This concerns players and above all the venues, in case anything has changed there. If you notice an error, please report it to us as soon as possible.

Annual general meeting 2020 2020-08-03
for Sunday 04.10.2020 we have scheduled this year’s annual general meeting, if the coronavirus rules allow it.
Four weeks beforehand you will still receive the personal invitations. Until 28.08.2020 you now have the opportunity to submit motions in advance, which will then be sent to everyone with the invitation and decided by the members at the annual general meeting.

Should the infection figures continue to develop unfavourably and the federal government impose new requirements, we will of course keep you informed immediately. The motions received by then remain valid until the next annual general meeting and will then be put before the meeting, discussed and decided by you.

Restart of the 2019/2020 season 2020-07-30
on 19 July 2020 VDH e. V. met the venue operators, discussed continuing the season and drew up a hygiene concept together.
We have planned the restart of the season for the first weekend in September and look forward to meeting you all at the board again.
It should be clear to all of us that continuing is only possible under difficult conditions, but if the prescribed measures are observed we should be able to finish the season smoothly.
The team captains have received a separate e-mail from us with the concept and plan, which they can forward or distribute to their players.

at its meeting on 23 April 2020 the executive board decided against abandoning the season and in favour of the following procedure:

- When the pubs reopen, VDH e. V. will start planning the continuation
- Until 31 August 2020 all planned major events are postponed to a later date
- As soon as assemblies are permitted again, the annual general meeting will be convened and the current season and its continuation discussed together with you

we would like to keep you briefly up to date on our planning and wish you all a healthy Easter.
The board follows developments in the coronavirus crisis daily. Unfortunately we have no crystal ball and cannot look into the future.
What we can say for certain is that we would like to finish the season together with all of you. The AGM, the final tournaments and other events planned by us are postponed.
Nevertheless we cannot present you with a "roadmap" here and now. We are working on a plan B behind the scenes, but here too we have to wait and see what the State of Lower Saxony prescribes, which pubs and venues are still available for play after the closures, and which teams remain.
We can only appeal to you and ask you emphatically:

After this period we will reassess the situation and
