Change of personnel looking after the district
dear members,
unfortunately we have to inform you that Alexander "Balu" Bergen will not continue in his post as district sports officer until further notice.
Oliver Rinke (county sports officer) takes over responsibility for the sporting area on an acting basis.
The captains and co-captains will receive further information on this in a separate e-mail.

Sending in / keeping match reports
we, the sports officers of VDH e.V., have decided that from now on no match report sheets need to be sent in any more.
It is enough for the home team’s captain to keep the sheets until the end of the season in case of discrepancies when entering data in the league administration.
Important: please remember to enter and confirm the results in the league administration on time (home and away captains).

Dual membership
the VDH season 2019/2020 has got off to a successful start.
In view of recent events we would like to make a brief statement on the subject of Dual membership .
As the VDH we appeal again and again before the season to individual members and captains to register their teams in the spirit of fair play and to field their players at the appropriate playing or league strength.
Unfortunately it keeps happening that players are registered in a much higher league in another federation while playing for us in the Kreisklasse, for example.
As a club we can do nothing about it. If a player has never been registered with the VDH before, we have to rely on their honesty and believe the information they give.
Many players are honest here and state their playing strength as well. Schwarze Schafe unfortunately exist everywhere. We condemn this in the strongest terms. But as just mentioned, we unfortunately cannot change it, as there is no cooperation between the individual federations in this respect (for data protection reasons this is also not possible, as personal data are involved).
Especially in the lower divisions we try to keep an eye on such registrations in order to protect players, and beginners in particular, from such strong .
If there is discontent in your group about this matter, you always have the option of complaining on your match report sheet or making your frustration known.
The sports officers can only act if they have specific information or complaints.
Here it is quite clear: We can only help those who speak up!
So, summed up once more in a single sentence:
People, be honest in what you state, because it is unfair to register in Single Out, for example, when you have earned Bezirksliga status or higher in another federation, just to prove to others what a big shot you are.
That has no place in our sport, because as a club we try to live the idea of fair play – and after all, the sport is meant to be fun.

Sending by fax is currently not possible
The unexpected happens all too often.
Our fax provider has just told us out of the blue that it has discontinued its service. In other words, all faxes sent after 31 August 2019 no longer arrived. It is just as annoying for us as it is for you, since many of you fax your late registrations and match report sheets.
We are working hard on a solution and will announce new numbers to you as soon as possible.
So please do not ring the sports officers; in the meantime send your results and registrations to the respective e-mail address you already know.

Introduction of the traffic-light system
please look at our website (https://www.vereinigte-dartliga-hannover.de) at Club > Information > Teams, whether the traffic light for your team is green.
If there is a yellow light there, please contact our treasurer immediately Lena Welc , because then there should still be something to sort out.
Please do not contact the sports officers, as they cannot help you in this case.
If the traffic light for your team is green, please also refrain from getting in touch. The green light means all in order.

the registration period for teams has ended and the groups have been allocated. Anyone who cannot get enough of this great sport can register their team for the VDH cup from now on. The deadline for this runs until 22.09.2019.
You will find the cup registration on our website under Tournaments > Cup. Please fill in the form legibly and send it by e-mail to pokal@vdhev.info .
Every team can take part in the VDH cup. Play is not within divisions but, as last year, wildly mixed. A one-off deposit of EUR 50 is charged for registration.
Once the registration deadline has passed we will take care of the dates. The draw for the first-round pairings takes place at the regulars’ meeting at our office Fischerhof 1, 30449 Hannover on 07.10.2019 . Spectators are warmly invited. As usual there will be a live broadcast on our Facebook page Vereinigte Dartliga Hannover e. V. .
We hope for many interested teams and a varied 2019/2020 cup season with plenty of exciting matches.
Until then we wish you pleasant summer days, a successful start to the season and good darts.

Division groupings 2019/2020 2019-07-20
It is done. After a hard piece of work the groups have been allocated. You will notice that one or two things have shifted a little. We really want to stress that we tried to take everything into account, but unfortunately we cannot please every team. Still, what counts is the idea of a sporting challenge. We would also like to thank you: because this year all team registrations really were in by the deadline, it was possible to stay within our self-imposed timeframe.
You will also notice that we have a new group. Most of you will have heard. Thanks to the teams that make this group possible.
Lena will then deal with the invoices. We hope that, as it should be, the invoices reach you before the league starts.
We are planning the league start for 24.08.2019 for Kreisliga and Kreisklasse.

we want to start the new VDH ranking season on 1 September 2019. Over the past weeks our sports officer Sören Radom has worked on the changes for the coming season.
If you are interested in hosting an open, a county or a mixed ranking series (6x open, 4x county or the other way round) at your venue, you now have until 11.08.2019 time to register for it.
You will find the registration form on our website under Tournaments – Ranking.
Please fill in the form legibly and send it to ranglisten@vdhev.info.
If you have questions about the registration or trouble filling it in, Sören is also available at ranglisten@vdhev.info .
After 11 August 2019 the registrations received will be entered in the darts calendar and the ranking hosts will be invited to a meeting so that the innovations and changes can be presented.
The draw for the major tournaments will also be made that day.
We look forward to many interested venues and a successful 2019/2020 ranking season
