VDH e. V. meets Ballerkalle / Schützenausmarsch 2022 2022-06-21

Dear members,

on Sunday, 3 July 2022 the Hanover Schützenausmarsch finally takes place again. We had to wait a long time for it.

And now it is:

VDH e. V. meets Ballerkalle

Under ausmarsch@vdhev.info you can register yourself, your team-mates or the whole team (if you want to come with partners or children, please mention it briefly). We can allocate 50 places. First come, first served. After arriving at the Schützenplatz, a table is again reserved for us at one of the venues on the site, so that we can celebrate together a little and round off the afternoon. We are hugely looking forward to the parade, hope for many registrations, and to presenting ourselves as a club with our teams, colourful and full of verve, to the Hanover public.

Ranking season 2022 2022-05-28

Dear members,
our VDH ranking starts again on 1 June 2022. Eight venues have registered with us for the half season. Unfortunately, at such short notice we could not set up both a county and an open season. An open tournament is played at all venues. Of course, as in the past, we will place county players in a separate ranking. Play is 501 D.O. as usual, EUR 5.00 stake + EUR 1.00 for the jackpot for the ranking final tournament. To qualify for the final tournament, the shortened season requires not five tournaments at three venues but three tournaments at two venues.
The tournament dates have been entered in the calendar on our website. The venues are, however, called upon to advertise their tournaments themselves.
We will publish the evaluation of the current rankings on our website on the first of each month so that you have an overview of your placings.
We have scheduled the final tournament for late November or early December.
We are pleased to be able to offer you a further chance to play alongside normal league play, and hope for good, exciting tournaments and lively participation.

Current information on the PDC event on 10 June 2022 2022-05-10

Dear members,

in view of recent events we would like to say a few more words about our PDC event.
We have heard that many do not "dare" to buy tickets for this event because they think that VDH e. V. wants to enrich itself from it and take the money out of its members’ pockets.

Hold on!!! Stop!!!

We want to offer our members something and finally put on a great event together again. Nothing is further from our minds than enriching ourselves at your expense – on the contrary. The whole thing is meant for you and for the good cause. We had already planned this event for 2020: the contracts with the PDC players were signed and the supporting programme was in place. Unfortunately the coronavirus thwarted our plans and we had to keep postponing the date behind the scenes.

As VDH e. V. we decided in 2019 to hold an event for a good cause once a year. Unfortunately the whole thing fell victim to the coronavirus for the last two years. This year we finally have the chance to come together on a larger scale again, and we as the board are wildly looking forward to finally playing darts and celebrating with you once more.

Once more here, for the sake of transparency:

A ticket costs EUR 20.00 for a member, a leg against a PDC player costs EUR 5.00, and a raffle ticket for the planned tombola will probably cost one euro. Every ticket also has the chance of being drawn for a show doubles, and all that free of charge. Contact with the players is also welcome, and the four of them are booked for photos and autographs until the evening.

Unfortunately we do not know who stirred up the rumour mill and claimed that a) we want to enrich ourselves, b) playing against a PDC player is supposed to cost EUR 50.00, and c) photos and autographs have to be paid for on top.

Every euro taken in besides ticket sales goes to Hand in Hand für Kinder in the region.

We hope that at this point we have been able to shed a little light on the matter and on the rumour mill.

Charity tournament 2022 2022-04-28

Dear members,

on 10 June 2022 the wait is finally over. After a long dry spell we can let the darts fly together again, plan events and hold them without major restrictions. We are enormously proud to announce our charity tournament and PDC event to you as members of VDH e. V.
For this event we have been able to sign Chris Dobey, Ian White, Nathan Aspinall and Callan Rydz. It will take place on 10 June from 16:00 at the Madsack event centre. Further details can be found in the attached flyer.
We are right in the middle of planning the supporting programme and the further shaping of the evening alongside the stars’ appearances, in order to give you an unforgettable evening.
For instance, for a modest euro you can buy yourself a leg on a practice board against one of the PDC players; live music is planned; and we would like to hold a tombola again, for which we are already busy collecting. If you can and want to support us here in any way, write to us at info@vdhev.info . We would be absolutely delighted if we could gather a few things here that we can raffle off.
Food and drink will be available on site.
The highlight of the evening is to be a doubles tournament in which several places for a doubles with a PDC player are drawn via the ticket numbers.
Of course we would again like to put the "good cause" in the foreground. We would like to donate part of the proceeds from the advance ticket sales, from the raffle and from "play against a PDC star" to Hand in Hand für Kinder der Region and support them again after 2019.

Advance ticket sales for VDH members will take place at the office on the following dates, 17:00–19:30:

Each member can buy a maximum of 5 tickets. A total allocation of 200 tickets can be issued by us through advance sales. There will probably be no box office on the night. As a member you pay 20 euros per ticket; for non-members 25 euros are charged. The tickets are personalised by us and checked by us at the entrance on the day of the event against the membership number and a valid ID. Every ticket purchased automatically takes part in the draw for the doubles with one of the PDC players.

We hope for lively participation, many enthusiastic darts fans and a great afternoon and evening with you.

Resignation of Lena Welc 2022-04-22

Dear team captains,
dear members,

we would like to inform you briefly about a small change on our board.
Lena Welc has resigned from the post of treasurer for personal reasons, which we as a whole body greatly regret.
We would ask you to respect their privacy and no longer to contact them on their private number.
Unfortunately we have not yet been able to find a replacement, but you can still reach us at the e-mail address kassenwart@vdhev.info communicate with us when it comes to incoming payments, fees and so on. Until we have filled the post again, Torsten Hagemeier as chair will manage the accounts on an acting basis and look after all money-related matters.

We take this opportunity to wish Lena all the best and wish you all a continued successful season.

Ranking season 2022 2022-04-12

Dear members,
team captains and landlords,

we would like to bring our VDH ranking back to life.
Play is to run from June to November 2022. Every venue can register for it from now until 20 May 2022. You will find the ranking registration on our website under Documents. Please send it, legibly and fully completed, to ranglisten@vdhev.info . Your sports officer and thus your contact is, as in previous years, Sören Radom.

Every venue may host one ranking tournament per month. You must decide which format you want to play for the whole season: either for the county or for the district. Both is not possible.
The cost per ranking tournament held is EUR 10.00. For every player taking part in a ranking tournament a jackpot contribution of EUR 1.00 is again levied. The entry fee per player is therefore EUR 5.00 for the tournament plus EUR 1.00 for the VDH jackpot.
The invoice for the ranking tournaments held and the amount of the jackpot will then be billed by us as a whole at the end of the season in November. The money collected is paid out again among the participating players at the ranking final tournament.

The venues are responsible for advertising the ranking tournaments themselves. The dates are of course entered in the calendar on our website, and if you want to post them on our page we are happy to release the post on Facebook.

Every venue registering for the ranking season is also responsible for prompt communication and for submitting the results. Please always name a contact person for us who runs the ranking tournament at your venue. So far this has worked smoothly in 99 % of cases.

We would be pleased if many interested and above all motivated venues came forward so that, alongside league play, we can again offer our members a little variety in the form of ranking tournaments.

Reminder: payment of fees and invoices for the 2022 season 2022-03-03

Dear all,

once again here:
In order to be able to take part in the current season, all members whose payment arrived by 7 February 2022 were set to active; members who only paid their fee after that date (in order to obtain eligibility to play) must, under the statutes, pay EUR 15.00 annual fee + EUR 5.00 processing/new registration fee.
For many, only the annual fee has come in. Please check whether you have also paid the EUR 5.00 new registration fee for your players. Otherwise we cannot clear them for active play.
If this has not happened, please pay the EUR 5.00 afterwards, stating the team name, the player name and the reference "Neumeldegebühr". As soon as we see the payment, we set the team member to active.
Anyone who has not paid the fee plus the EUR 5.00 late registration fee by 27 February 2022 (currently 4 March 2022) will be suspended for the starting season.
Lena Welc is available as treasurer if you have any questions.
There are also still some teams whose entry fee has not been paid. Here too: a payment term of 14 days applies.
Anyone who has not paid the entry fee by tomorrow, 4 March 2022, may not play their league match at the weekend. Please get together with your venue and check whether everything has been paid.
We check the incoming payments daily and try to process them and enter them into the software as quickly as possible.

first of all, many thanks that quite a few have already managed to pay their 2022 annual fee. Unfortunately not everyone has complied with this request to date.

So the following applies:
